Charlotte White (she/her)
DIRECTOR | PSYCHOLOGIST
Whether you're new to therapy or continuing your journey, I'm glad you're here. I am a Psychologist, EMDR therapist, introvert and best friend to every cat I meet.
My approach focuses on:
Understanding your unique story: I'm genuinely curious about your experiences and what makes you, well, you.
Uncovering the root causes: We’ll dig deeper to ensure long lasting change.
Creating a safe and supportive space: I aim for therapy to be a safe space for learning and unlearning. A space of support and challenge, where you don’t have to be anyone but yourself.
Finding what works best for you: I use a variety of modalities, so we can tailor our sessions to your specific needs and preferences.
Helping you grow: I'll gently encourage you to reflect on your experiences and challenge you to grow towards greater self-understanding and a more fulfilling life.
I'm here to support you as you navigate this messy world. Let's connect and see how I can help you feel more like yourself.

Since becoming a fully registered psychologist, I've gained diverse experience, initially working within the criminal justice system and as a school psychologist. This foundation led me to roles in community mental health services and eventually private practice. I established Being Human Psychology in 2023 and have been so grateful to work in the beautiful Olinda.

Anything that your grandmother enjoys as a hobby, you can assume that I do, as well. I spend my weekends pottering around the house, bird-watching/animal spotting, baking, feeling warm sunshine on my face, reading, and playing with my cats and dogs.
I also really enjoy weightlifting and spent 10 years as an avid powerlifter, maybe that applies to your grandmother too?
